The HO-scale iCar is uniquely designed piece of rolling stock that allows users to insert their iPhone 4 and 4s into the cradle of this amazing car and capture images and video looking straight down the track, like you were riding the rails yourself! The image is captured by reflecting it through an angled mirror back into the camera's lens. Images and videos then can be carried on the iPhone or shared in multitude of ways such as YouTube. So now if you visit a layout, bring your iCar along and capture the experience. Or perhaps you are having troubles in a tough spot to get you eye on, like in a tunnel or hidden staging, the iCar can capture the area in 720i video for you r to review. Or create your own action movies using clips taken with your iCar ! The open frame design of this car allows users to still access the touch screen and action button while the iPhone is still in the cradle.
Our HO-scale iCar also meets NMRA specifications for car weight while the phone is inserted. And if you are running sound equipped locomotives the iPhone will pick the audio.
The car even navigate 18" radius curves.
The iCar is a very easy to assemble and can be completed in an evening or two.
